Flexicel Group is proud to announce that it has obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification for its 2 Flexicel Industrial plants based in Esparreguera (Barcelona).
Granted in late July 2023 by the prestigious Certification Body TÜV RHEINLAND, the certification of the Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard demonstrates Flexicel Group's commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of its operations and services, as well as adopting concrete measures to combat climate change and promote sustainable development.
The EMS also provides a global framework for the different Flexicel plants to integrate their environmental aspects into their operations and services for monitoring, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, measuring environmental impact through carbon calculators, seeking innovative eco-efficient solutions, and complying with applicable legal requirements, all under the perspective of the product life cycle throughout the entire supply chain.
This is a global effort to truly integrate the environment into the Group's business strategy and support the efforts of its suppliers and customers to reduce their environmental impact.
As part of this global effort, and included in the Flexicel Group's Strategic Plan, the following plants working towards certification under the ISO 14001:2015 standard will be those located in Braga (Portugal).
