Flexicel is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification at the Flexicel Portugal, Lda. facility, located in Braga, Portugal.
The Environmental Management System (EMS) certification, in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, was awarded in July 2026 by the prestigious certification body TÜV Rheinland, demonstrating Flexicel's commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of its operations and services, as well as adopting concrete measures to address climate change and promote sustainable development.
The EMS also provides a global framework for the different Flexicel's manufacturing facilities to integrate environmental aspects into their operations and services. This includes, among other initiatives, monitoring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, measuring environmental impact through carbon footprint assessment, seeking innovative eco-efficient solutions, and ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements, all within a product life cycle perspective across the entire supply chain.
This certification represents a global effort to fully integrate environmental responsibility into the Group's business strategy and to support suppliers and customers in their efforts to reduce their environmental impact.
